Project Objective
Missouri S&T Formula Electric Racing strives to:
  • Promote understanding of electric vehicles,
  • Implement new automotive technologies in a highly competitive environment,
  • Provide students the opportunity to apply knowledge from their coursework through practical application,
  • Design, build and competitively race an electric vehicle in Formula SAE Electric.
 

Anticipated Benefits

The Formula Electric racing team will promote Missouri S&T’s engineering excellence by successfully competing against other top engineering universities in the US and around the world. Students on the team will have the opportunity to reinforce their classroom education through practical application of modern, and future, automotive technologies.
