Investigate and assess soil liquefaction and dynamic soil-structure interaction under extreme loads.

 

Project Abstract

The study comprises the following parts: (1) Site Characterization; (2) Explosive Wave Propagation in Soils; (3) Blast-Induced Liquefaction; (4) Soil-Foundation-Structure Interaction.

 

Anticipated Benefits

Provide information about: (1) infrastructure response under explosive load; (2) mechanism of blast-induced ; (3) liquefaction; (4) calibration of numerical simulation and analysis
